Program Goals

The YMCA Achiever program’s goal is to reach diverse communities across our service area to provide educational enrichment and career awareness activities for Greater Boston youth.  We:

• Develop the educational and career aspirations of minority youth.
• Recognize minority professionals who have achieved success in their careers.
• Engage YMCA Achievers in community service to benefit youth; and promote mentoring relationships between youth and minority professionals.
• Create channels for continued community involvement by business and industry.
