Who Can Participate

The YMCA Black Achievers program is open to youth in middle and high schools, from all social, economic and academic levels.  The only true requirement a youth must have in order to enroll in the program is the desire to achieve.

The Adult Achievers are selected by their employers based upon a demonstrated history of achievement in their field; progression within the company and potential for further advancement; and a commitment to voluntary community service on behalf of youth.
