Lifeguard Class

So you want to be a lifeguard!  This class will certify participants as YMCA Lifeguards.  Course includes certification in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Oxygen Administration, First Aid and Lifeguarding.  Participants must be at least 16 years old and be able to swim 500 yards nonstop.

The Burbank YMCA in Reading will be offering the following Lifeguard Classes this summer.  Employment opportunities will be available at the Burbank YMCA upon successful completion of this course. 

Wednesday, Oct 1,8,15 from 6:00-10:00pm

Saturday, Oct 4,11,18 from 1:00-7:00pm

Sunday, Oct 5,12 from 3:00-7:00pm

Cost:

$325 Burbank YMCA Family Members
$350 Burbank YMA Youth Members
$375 Non-members
