About Us
The Dorchester Y is proud to be part of the YMCA of Greater Boston, the largest provider of social services in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Dorchester YMCA has been a staple in the community for more than 90 years. Serving Dorchester and the surrounding areas, the Dorchester YMCA underwent a renovation in 2008. Today the Y features new Nautilus Circuit equipment, an indoor pool, free weights, cardio equipment, group exercise classes, personal training, teen programs, and much more. Every square inch of the building is an important part of insuring youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
