English for Employment
English for Employment
Designed to meet the needs of unemployed, recently laid-off, or low-income individuals with limited English language skills, English for Employment is eligible for funding from area career centers. English instruction is customized to meet learners' goals. Individual learning plans, created for three to 12 months, include computer literacy in English and employability skills. Participants receive support to transition to a job training program or enter into employment.
