Partnerships for a Skilled Workforce
For Leaners
Learn computer skills, Microsoft Office applications, and skills essential to getting a better job with a better future in an office or medical setting. Gain confidence through skills training, mock interviewing, resume and cover letter work shops and team exercises. Be part of a small group of students taking part in a program proven to offer career opportunities, not simply jobs.
Training runs for 20 weeks, Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM and includes an 8-week internship with an area employer. Employers include the City of Boston, Boston Medical Center, and the Latin American Health Institute to name a few. Specialized training is offered for:
- Medical office administration
- Administrative Assistant
- Accounting support

For Employers
Over 50 employers provide internships and hire graduates for a wide variety of positions utilizing graduates' computer skills, previous work experience, customer service skills and language proficiency.

Commercial Drivers License Training, Class B
Our 14-week evening training prepares candidates to pass the permit tests and earn required endorsements. Road training is provided in conjunction with partner companies.

Training, Inc. is an accredited vocational school Licensed by MA Department of Education. Courses are approved for funding by Career Centers in Greater Boston, WIA, DTA, TAA, Section 30 and the City of Boston Neighborhood Jobs Trust.
In addition, private sector contributions and grants support many aspects of the training and graduate services.
