The PITCH & RUN™

Intended to encourage youth participation and emphasize the "FUN" element of baseball competition. Since there is no registration fee for this program, every boy and girl, ages 7-14, will have a chance to compete. Participants will compete in three important aspects of baseball/softball: pitching, & running.  Saturday March 27th, at 10am in the Huntington Avenue YMCA gymnasium.  Registration forms are located by clicking here. Bring it with you the day of competition.

Self Defense For Females  / Auto Defensa Para Mujeres

This program will teach you how to discipline your body to react to life threatening situations and avoid confrontation with the ability to protect yourself.

LOCATION (LOCAL): Huntington Avenue YMCA (karate room)

DATE/TIME (FECHA/HORA): 3/4/2010-3/22/2010 (Jueves7:00PM-8:30PM):

4 consecutive Thursday’s.

Take the NEW BODY TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE

($624) 10 sessions with a Personal Trainer meeting twice a week and then 2 one hour sessions with Dietician to provide nutritional guidance.  Before and after pictures will be taken in this contest and the member with the most changes to their body composition and measurements will win a free pt session. Adult CO-ED Dodgeball League

Time: Starts March 17th-April 21st on Wednesday’s from 7:00-9:00pm

Great league that combines fun and competitiveness.  All abilities are welcome.

NEW FREE CLASS

The new 10 Minute Target Class will teach you unique exercises that focus on the muscle of the month with our Personal Trainers in the  free weight room. The10 minute Target Class meets at the Welcome Desk. Please contact Ned at nbeauchamp@ymcaboston.org for mroe  information.

Enter to win a FREE half hour Personal Training session with Micheal Vaughn  The Personal Training raffle box is at the fitness desk located in front of the personal training informational board next to men’s locker room entrance.

Power Half Hour

We have a NEW FREE 9 piece functional workout class that incorporates all the major muscle groups and various equipment on the circuit.  This class is being lead by a certified personal trainer and is a time efficient total body workout.
