Ponkapoag Outdoor Center

The YMCA of Greater Boston Ponkapoag Outdoor Center, located in the Blue Hills Reservation near Canton, MA, is a beautiful wilderness setting with immediate access to woodlands, open meadows, a quaking bog, ponds and 125 miles of hiking trails. The 35 acre site also includes an archery range, Challenge Course featuring Low and High Ropes Course elements, an outdoor swimming pool with showers, changing room, modern flush toilets, activity fields and a basketball court, covered pavilions, and a four-season lodge. The spacious lodge features a large activity room, health center, and camp offices.

The Ponkapoag Outdoor Center is a great place to host family functions, business outings, retreats, and large group events! Our experienced staff provides an emotionally and physically safe environment for all participants to learn, grow, explore, and cultivate leadership and teamwork skills. The facility can be reserved for weekend events only between the months of June-August and can be booked any day from September-October.
