Please note that the Hyde Park YMCA building is closed as of July 1, 2009 as it undergoes an $8 million renovation and expansion. We look forward to welcoming the community back into the facility summer 2010.
Hyde Park YMCA members still have plenty of options even while the building is closed:
Membership options:
*Use any of our other YMCA of Greater Boston locations including West Roxbury, Dorchester, Roxbury, Huntington Ave., Wang YMCA of Chinatown, East Boston, Charlestown, Needham, Waltham, Reading or Woburn. Your Hyde Park membership will be honored at all YMCA of Greater Boston locations.
*Place your membership on hold until we reopen. You will not be charged for any time while your membership is on hold and we will extend it beyond the customary 3 months.
*Cancel your annual or short term membership and receive a refund for any monies due - renew when we reopen and pay joining fee. This does not apply to continuous memberships
Group Exercise and Karate options
*Keep your YMCA membership and use other YMCA locations - check out Activity Schedules on our website, for other locations' Group Exercise schedules.
*Put YMCA membership on hold and join the City of Boston Community Center. Take classes there with Hyde Park Y instructors - click here to see the Hyde Park YMCA group exercise schedule for class type and times.
*Become a member of both.

$35 per month - Unlimited Group Exercise - includes ALL evening and Saturday classes on our current schedule *

Karate Rates:

Children 7 to 14 - $20 per month

Adults 14 and up - $50 per month

*Fit & Fifty Classes are free for seniors who are members of the Community Center.

You can become a Community Center member at anytime - membership forms are available at the Community Center or from your instructor.

Registration for Unlimited Group Exercise and Karate will begin on Wednesday, July 2nd. Classes are scheduled to begin on Monday, July 6th at the Community Center. They may be delayed in order to register all instructors. Call to confirm 617-635-5178.

While the Hyde Park YMCA building is closed, we are still providing summer day camp and vital after school child care services for area families. Please call 617.361.2300 for more information (we will retain our main phone number throughout construction).
