English for Employment

This class is designed to meet the needs of unemployed, recently laid-off, or low-income individuals with limited English language skills.

English for Employment is offered to adults who are eligible for vouchers through area Career Centers. English instruction is customized to meet learners' goals. Individual learning plans, created for 6 to 12 months, include basic computers, English literacy and employability skills. Participants receive support to transition to a job training program or enter into employment.
