Youth & Government

Youth & Government is a program that encourage the character development of youths through the YMCA core values caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.  Its core principles and practices are to:

• Provide a greater awareness  and understanding of social issues
• Develop possible solutions and means of effectively improve societal issues
• Promote the skills of actively hearing and respecting varying viewpoints
• Promote active participation in political and public affairs both locally and nationally.
