Hyde Park - Marketing and Development Internship
The Marketing and Development Intern will support marketing and development operations for the Hyde Park Family YMCA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for direct mail projects, newsletters, event planning, copy writing/copy editing, promotional programs, and working with all aspects of the membership and development department.
The position reports to the Operations/Member Services Director and Board and Development Coordinator.
Assists in and performs planning, coordination and execution of events and activities, including planning, scheduling and implementing recreational activities in a specific program area; recruits, coordinates and supervises the activities of regular, temporary and volunteer staff; assists with annual development campaign, all marketing aspects of the branch, and performs related work as required.
- Coordinate, schedule and track all marketing mailings with outside mailing sources
- Provide design support for internal, external and marketing campaigns
- Assist in tracking of all membership and program related activities and trends
- Assist in branch outreach and development
- Assist business office in HR recruitment
- Coordinate general board activities and take minutes at meetings
- Manage tracking of membership and program prospects and participants
- Assist in management processes of new member interaction within the facility
- Promotes corporate membership, community outreach, and group programs within the community to increase revenue and exposure for branch
