Careers for Personal Trainers
The fitness centers at the YMCA's of Greater Boston seek people who provide personal training, fitness assessments, and general fitness advice for everyone. However, we provide extensive and personalized training for fitness-focused members in the areas of strenth training, cardio-training, weight-loss training, and just over-all health improvement. Calling Devoted, Dynamic Group Exercise Instructors
Group exercise classes are held at all fitness facilities and vary by location and season. Sample classes include aerobics, pilates, yoga, dance and core strenghtening. We are always looking for new ways for our members to attain both fitness and fun. If you are interested in teaching a class, please contact the Fitness Director at the branch that interests you.
College Students Majoring in Exercise Physiology or Related Fields
