Our Graduates

One cup of tea. Our trainees arrive in each day at 9AM on the dot and do not leave until 4. For some, it took hours to arrive here, managing multiple trains and buses and dropping off their children at school or daycare. Some are holding down jobs at night and weekends. They work tirelessly all day to acquire new skills, equipped with a desire to learn and a donated business suit. Yet come noon, some of our trainees pull out a simple cup of tea for lunch. They cannot afford anything else.

Why do they make the trip here every day, when they have so much else to worry about at home? They enroll in our tuition-free program because they believe what they’ve heard: we really are the best job training program in Boston. If they stick with us, they will get a good job, move out of poverty and into success.
