Day Camps
The Waltham Family YMCA offers a variety of summer camp programs for children ages 3-16. Choose from any one of our camps to meet your child's interests; mix and match interests throughout the summer.
Our facility hosts large playing and sports fields, nature trails, indoor gymnasium and an outdoor pool for activities and fun for all.
Our dedicated and trained staff team creates a daily schedule that helps kids learn social skills and develop character values in a safe, FUN environment.
Our day camps and summer programs run from 9am to 4pm.
Can't drop-off or pick-up on time? We offer pre- and post-camp activities for all camps (excluding Caboteers). Pre Camp runs 7:30am-9:00am and Post Camp runs 4:00-6:00pm

Summer Camp Open Camp Day / Welcome to Camp Day. Counselors will be available to meet children who are getting ready to attend camp for the summer, and families will be able to tour the facilities. Bring a Friend! June 14, 11:00am-2:00pm

Enrollment forms: All forms in the registration packet must be completed and turned in at the time of registration. No registration will be processed if the packet is incomplete. Medical forms must be completed by a physician and are due no later that May 1.

Caboteers Ages 3-4 Our Preschool Camp will get the young ones started on their first camp experience with fun age-appropriate activities and wonderful learning opportunities.
Pioneers & Camp Cabot Our traditional day camp with outdoor activities such as archery, swimming, field games, arts & crafts, and nature fun, there's something for every child. Pioneers Ages 5 & 6 (must be at least 5 years old on the first day of the session). Camp Cabot (Campers entering Grades 2-6)
Sports Camps For those who love sports and athletics, we have Athletic Camps that focus on a different sport and skills each week. Rookies: Entering Grades 1-3. Champions: Entering Grades 4-6.
Athletic Training Camp (Teens 6-8th grade and High School) Looking to build your skills and get ready for school year sports. This is the camp for you to get ahead of the game. 6-8th grade athletic camp 9:00am-12:00pm. 9-12th grade athletic camp 1:00-4:00pm. Runs Sessions 5, 6 & 7.
Voyagers & Voyagers Extreme Camp (For Campers entering Grades 6-10) Teens who crave adventure and exploration will have a blast at our Voyagers Camp with daily explorations and some overnight trips. This summer marks the first ever Voyagers Extreme! Featuring a 3 day backpacking trip, these weeks are off the- charts adventure! Satisfy your inner explorer and learn what its like to have a true mountain-top experience!
Leadership Camp (For campers entering grades 8-12) Leadership Camp is an opportunity for older campers to build responsibility and learn what it takes to be an effective leader. This camp is particularly good for teens who wish to work at camp in the future. Runs Sessions 2, 5, & 8.
